Xbox Shares the Joy of Gaming this Holiday Season with the #GiveWithXbox Campaign

AUSTIN, TEXAS (November 10, 2018) /For immediate release/ — The holiday season is a time of giving and we know the gaming community loves to give back! Now through December 9, 2018, we have joined forces with Xbox to help give the joy of gaming to everyone.

There are two ways to join the fun and give back to deserving charities, including OSD:

  • Share a post on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter about what gaming together means and tag with #GiveWithXbox. There is no limit per user so you can share on all 3!  
  • Re-tweet one of Xbox’s #GiveWithXbox campaign tweets about OSD or another charity.

For each of these, Xbox will donate $5 USD of Xbox products, up to $1M, split among Child’s Play, Gamers Outreach, SpecialEffect, and OSD. They might also showcase your photo online with other posts!

Donation: From November 10, 2018 to December 9, 2018 or until the maximum donation is reached, for every qualifying photo post to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram that includes #GiveWithXbox, and for every qualifying re-Tweet of Xbox’s #GiveWithXbox campaign tweets about Child’s Play, Gamers Outreach, SpecialEffect, and Operation Supply Drop that includes #GiveWithXbox, Xbox will donate $5 USD in Xbox products (max. donation $1 million USD) split among Child’s Play, Gamers Outreach, SpecialEffect, and Operation Supply Drop.  Microsoft may add other mechanisms for donation during this campaign.
