USO-Jacksonville, North Carolina, Updates Services for Camp Lejeune Marines with New OSD Partnership

JACKSONVILLE, NC & CAMP LEJEUNE, NC August 15, 2017 /For immediate release/ — The USO-Jacksonville facility, serving the Camp Lejeune military community in North Carolina kicked off a new partnership this week with OSD (Operation Supply Drop).

The Jacksonville location provides services to thousands of young Marines and OSD sees this as opportunity to further existing work with the USO across the state.


Holly Coffer, Coastal Area Director for USO of North Carolina, said, “Operation Supply Drop gifted our center with a new XBox One and a stash of games! We’re thrilled to offer our service members new gaming options! Thank you!”


OSD Central NC members visited the installation and took the opportunity to introduce OSD’s additional programs and plan for future events.


OSD Central NC member and US Army Veteran, Laeth Damon, said, “Our supply drop helped boost morale for thousands of Marines and created a new relationship with the USO of Jacksonville, NC. We are honored to begin working Holly and her team.”


This “Supply Drop,” the first of what will be an ongoing and growing service, was made possible by OSD donors and proud supporters including Bezier Games, Ubisoft and Activision.
