‘Supply Drop’ Paid Forward by Rotating Troops gets Power Up for Military Intelligence Unit embedded with SOJTF-OIR
ORLANDO, FLORIDA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (June 1, 2018) /For immediate release/ — 321 Military Intelligence Battalion deployed to the Middle East from Orlando, Florida had a gift left by rotating troops in the form of an OSD ‘Supply Drop.’ The unit, attached to SOJTF-OIR, reached out with a simple ask that turned into an early Christmas for scores of deployed soldiers.
SGT Matthew A. wrote, “I reached out to OSD regarding a broken screen on a GAEMS case we received from a unit who recently left the country. This unit was kind enough to pass on the case as they transitioned home, and I was just wondering if you could assist me in the screen replacement.”
“Our team will greatly appreciate it as we will be able to build morale by gaming together once the screen is fixed and we already have plans to purchase an Xbox once the screen issue is resolved. You guys are amazing and we really do appreciate you helping us.”
With small asks, come great ‘Supply Drops.’
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe.
