‘Supply Drop’ Helps Soldiers Pass the Time Down Range
FORT POLK, LOUISIANA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 30, 2018) /For immediate release/ — The 3rd Brigade Combat Team,10th Mountain Division deployed from Fort Polk to Iraq were hoping for a reminder of home. SPC Jeremy M. said, “Our unit is currently out in a TAA in Iraq that we set up, we don’t have much to do to make the time pass.”
While critical to the work in Iraq, morale amongst these soldiers was low. SPC Jeremy M. continued, “We have been a critical part to this fight for OIR and we could use some help to pass time and give us a little glimpse of the civilian life until we can make it home.”
Eager to help, OSD delivered a supply drop.
