‘Supply Drop’ Helps 390th Engineer Company Cope with High Ops Tempo
CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE & AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 11, 2018) /For immediate release/ — The 390th Engineer Company recently deployed to El Salvador from the Bonny Oaks Reserve Center. Over the last several years, this unit has been asked to provide various engineer assets to countries across the globe.
According to Corporal Trevor L. “These deployments often come at a moments notice and will likely continue in this manner for some time.” Most recently, soldiers were sent on a diplomatic trip to El Salvador.
The short notice and high ops tempo are hard on the unit. And with no access to an MRW, these Soldiers were looking for a way to have some fun, and OSD delivered.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the early Fall as members of OSD’s Southeast Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Tennessee.
