Soldiers of 311th Quartermaster Company Deployed from Puerto Rico Enjoying OSD Supply Drop

Soldiers of the 311th Quartermaster Company are deployed from Ramey Air Force Base in Puerto Rico to Kuwait. Part of Mortuary Affairs, these soldiers work long hours and the stress of the deployment was getting to some.

Morale in the unit was pretty low. Soldiers missed their friends, family, and the comforts of home. Sgt Juan R. reached out to OSD hoping we could provide his Unit a welcome distraction and something to do in their downtime. He thought that might help them get through the remainder of the deployment.

OSD Supply Drops are full of items to help Soldiers relax, unwind, and take their minds off of stressful deployments.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the Spring as members of OSD’s Southwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Puerto Rico.
