Soldiers of the ODA 7214 US Army Special Forces Increase Morale Thanks To OSD Supply Drop

Soldiers of the ODA 7214 US Army Special Forces are deployed from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida to Afghanistan. The cold Afghan winter had them searching for things to occupy their time inside. Unfortunately, they had very little to do. Boredom and too much idle time eventually impacts morale, so they reached out to OSD hoping for a Supply Drop to lift their spirits.

Staff Sergeant Nate H. explained, “It’s getting really cold out and we need things to do inside. A Supply Drop would be a great morale boost for our guy.”

We were happy to get a Supply Drop in their hands.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the late Winter as members of OSD’s Southeast Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Florida.
