Soldiers of the 721st Engineer Company Get Morale Boost from OSD Supply Drop

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS & AUSTIN, TEXAS (October 14, 2018) /For immediate release/ —   Soldiers of the 721st Engineer Company are deployed from Armed Forces Reserve Center in Grand Prairie, Texas to the Middle East. They have been in a number of countries providing support – Jordan, Afghanistan, Dubai, and more recently Kuwait. The travel and difficulty of the deployment had impacted these soldiers morale and they were looking for a way to rest, relax, and unwind.

SGT Arik G. explained, “We are spread from here to hell and back and we need to catch a break. We thought it would be cool to play some card games and chill a bit.”

OSD was happy to send a Supply Drop their way well stocked with games of all types, coffee, and much more.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the Winter as members of OSD’s Texas Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Texas.
