OSD Washington DC Holds Winter Clothing Drive for Homeless Veterans
WASHINGTON, DC (December 13, 2018) /For immediate release/ — OSD Washington, DC has collected more than 150 items to help homeless Veterans this winter. They began the winter clothing drive in September. Each month they have collected items to ensure that those in need are equipped with proper clothing for the harsh DC winter.
The items were donated to Veterans On The Rise, a local nonprofit in DC which supports Veterans who have become homeless. Washington, DC Chapter Leader Robert Marshal said, “I am overjoyed with the support we received from the community. We collected over 150 items that went to supporting homeless veterans in DC. This is why I love OSD, it allows for Veterans to support and take care of our own.”
