OSD, a chapter-based Veteran Support Ecosystem™, will join forces with Critical Role during the month of November to support military families everywhere. The organization has worked with Critical Role for a few years and has raised over $75,000 for active and veteran military members.
As part of this year’s program, for every $35 that is donated by the Critical Role community (the “Critters”), the company will support one current or previous military service person. In addition, as part of the fundraising campaign, they will focus on first-person military shooter games on Travis Willingham’s Yee-Haw Game Ranch, which will air every other Tuesday (November 5th and November 19th at 4pm Pacific) on Critical Role’s Twitch channel.
“Critical Role and their community have made such a huge impact in the lives of so many military service members,” said Glenn D. Banton, CEO and Executive Director of OSD. “The Critters always come out in full force when we work with their team, and we’re so grateful to them for always supporting what we do and how we’re making a difference in the lives of so many.”
“I’ve been a fan of OSD and their efforts for many years now. Coming from a military family, it’s personally important to me to give back to the people who put so much on the line for us everyday,” said Travis Willingham, CEO of Critical Role. “Partnering with OSD has been an honor, and we take pride in supporting their mission of affecting positive change in the lives of veterans, active military members and their families.”
OSD’s award-winning support programs include:
- Social Connectivity: Physical fitness and wellness, family outings, concerts and sporting events, tailgates, Supply Drops™, Games to Grunts™, happy hours, coffee meetups, and recreational therapy.
- Professional Development: Skill share and development workshops, entrepreneur mentorship, corporate networking, and Boot to Books™.
