OSD ‘Supply Drop’ Provides Morale Boost for Troops Deployed to the Middle East

FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 30, 2018) /For immediate release/ —  Fort Bragg’s 96th Civil Affairs Battalion continuous deployment cycle to the Middle East is hard on soldiers. Being away from friends, family, and the comforts of home so frequently can put a dent in morale.

Nydia B. said, “Any support we receive to boost our morale is greatly appreciated.”

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Microsoft, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the early Fall as members of OSD’s Southeast Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within the Fayetteville Chapter.
