OSD ‘Supply Drop’ Helps Soldiers Cope with High Stress Job

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (March 30, 2018) /For immediate release/ —
The 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade deployed from Fort Benning to Afghanistan. As a brand new unit, they were tasked with an important, but dangerous mission.

SGT Gabriel E. said, “We are a brand new unit with a highly dangerous mission that is imperative to achieving peace in Afghanistan.”

With stress levels high, it was imperative that these soldiers have a way to relax. An OSD Supply Drop provided the perfect outlet.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Microsoft, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the early Fall as members of OSD’s Southeast Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Georgia.
