OSD “Supply Drop” with Games and Coffee Headed to Deployed North Carolina Air National Guard Unit

NEW LONDON, NORTH CAROLINA November 24, 2017 /For immediate release/ — OSD sends “Supply Drop” to deployed 332 AEW/ECS North Carolina Air Guard Unit in the Middle East.

The unit, due to return home in 2018 requested any games or gear to help Airmen or joint forces that do not have their own.  None of these items are provided by their MWR; individuals must have their own.

US Air Force MSGT, Daniel J., said, “I am from North Carolina, currently deployed to an undisclosed location with the Air Force. We are a communications unit, who provides communications to over 1500 personnel across the base. The mission here is to destroy ISIL forces and move towards more resolve.  Our unit is in direct support of this initiative.”

OSD is shipping items from partners including Starbucks, Bezier Games and Steve Jackson Games with direct support from USAA and FanDuel.

OSD Warehouse Manager, Laeth Damon said, “I know personally what it’s like to be deployed and how packages from back home can change a deployment for the better. We’re excited to support the dozens of Airmen deployed from New London as well as the hundreds across the base.”

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted over 100,000 active military personnel this year to troops in dozens of locations around the globe.
