OSD “Supply Drop” En Route to New US Air Force Unit Deployed to Kuwait

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, NEW MEXICO (December 31, 2017) /For immediate release/ — The 386th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron will receive a “Supply Drop” from OSD while deployed to Kuwait from Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.

Senior Airman Brandon B., said, “We’re from the White Aircraft Maintenance Unit at the 386th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. We are a brand new unit assigned to this deployed location and have just recently completed setting up our operation. We have been fortunate enough to move into a new building where our unit can operate from. However, our new building lacks supplies to support the needs of my fellow Airmen.”

“I was deployed to Afghanistan last year and our unit received one of your care packages. Needless to say, it was put to great use and was much appreciated. I am hopeful that we can receive a care package to our new location so that we can enjoy our pass-time. I can assure you that once again, it would be put to great use.”

OSD is sending support from Starbucks, Bezier Games, Steve Jackson Games and other key partners with direct support from Rip It Energy and FanDuel.

OSD Warehouse Manager, Laeth Damon, said, “We’re excited to provide some fun to the Airmen of the 386th. They’ll soon have plenty of games and coffee to ‘Make Fun Where There is None.’”

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted over 150,000 active military personnel this year to troops in scores of locations around the globe.
