OSD “Supply Drop” brings Starbucks Coffee and Gaming to Camp Pendleton Marines in Afghanistan

CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA & SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (January 24, 2018) /For immediate release/ — Camp Pendleton Marines currently deployed to Afghanistan receive timely morale boost with OSD “Supply Drop” featuring Starbucks coffee, games and more.

 

United States Marine Corps Sgt Daniel L., member of Georgian Liaison Team Rotation 6, spoke for the unit stating, “We want to say thank you so much for the supply drop. This has boosted our moral so much, which is necessary for deployments. We are at a loss for words and owe you our gratitude. Thank you so much.”

Scott Morrison, OSD Director of Global Community Operations, stated, “Getting this feedback from these Marines is what keeps our teams working to so hard to ensuring quick turnaround. We know how much it helps these deployments and we’re excited to share these successes with our military support partners.”

 

The “Supply Drop” included support from FanDuel, Starbucks, Bezier Games, Steve Jackson Games, GAEMS and other key OSD partners.
