OSD ‘Supply Drop’ Boost Morale of Soldiers in Remote Area of the Middle East
TACOMA, WA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 20, 2018) /For immediate release/ — The 3/1 SFG(A) deployed from Joint Base Lewis-McChord to Afghanistan. Stationed in a remote location they were without a lot of basic amenities like internet and TV. They were in need of a morale boost to get through the rest of their deployment.
PFC Rakiem W. said, “We are currently deployed Afghanistan. We have six more months here on camp. The forward support guys and I are looking for anything that would give us a morale boost for the next six months on this deployment.”
OSD was happy to deliver.
