OSD Seeds Taji, Iraq ‘Nerd Cave’ with Gear to Boost Morale of over 2,500 Deployed US and ANZAC Soldiers and Airmen

TAJI, IRAQ & AUSTIN, TX (February 28, 2018) /For immediate release/ — Soldiers and Airmen in Taji, Iraq are in for an immediate treat and major upgrade to their Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Center. OSD has shipped numerous ‘Supply Drop’ packages to kick start what will continue as an ongoing relationship.


US Army SGM John D. wrote, “I’m the Garrison Command Sergeant Major for Taji, currently working to build a ‘nerd cave’ for our troops in the MWR center. We have 2500+ US and ANZAC uniform soldiers and airmen.”

“I’d like to set up a gaming center for off duty hours and regular gaming tournaments. some of my IT guys can set up the LAN and keep the systems going, I just need consoles and games. You guys took care of our troops when I was in Egypt. A lot of guys got some real good MWR there thanks to OSD, hoping for the same here in IRAQ.”


The “Supply Drop” includes generous support from Disgruntled Decks, Razer, Starbucks, Bezier Games, Steve Jackson Games, GAEMS and other key OSD partners.
