AUSTIN, TEXAS (FEBRUARY 6, 2018) /For immediate release/ — OSD ramps up training programs for community leadership position with help from TrainOurTroops partnership.
First phase of training, available to OSD chapter leads and activity leads, puts emphasis on communication and empathy.
Scott Morrison, OSD Director of Global Community Operations, stated, “Providing valuable training to our members has and will always be a priority for our mission execution. Our goal is to ensure that each member of OSD gains additional value that can be used outside our organization to better the community at-large. We’re grateful for our partnership with TrainOurTroops to assist in organizing this first set of courses.”
This training is a small part of a much larger initiative whereby OSD and TrainOurTroops have committed to training over 200,000 military community members by 2020.

Whether these opportunities happen within our Heroic Forces program or through our partnership with TrainOurTroops, we know we’re making a daily impact that will prove to show value for years to come.”
OSD continues to work with TrainOurTroops and other strategic partners to develop courses and content to match the diverse needs of the broad military community.
