OSD Southwest Hosting Veterans for Heroic Forces “Thank You Deployment” at CES in Partnership with TrainOurTroops

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (January 6, 2018) /For immediate release/ — OSD and TrainOurTroops partnership leads CES Heroic Forces “Thank You Deployment” for veterans in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the event that kicks off the technology world’s annual calendar, and 2018 will see thousands of companies descend upon Nevada to show off their wares. New to that mix is TrainOurTroops, who is teaming up with OSD (Operation Supply Drop), and offering a Heroic Forces “Thank You Deployment” to veterans. CES, a staunch supporter of the veteran community, will immerse veterans with networking and educational opportunities among the 180,000+ attendees at the annual event in Las Vegas.

“This is a great event to get our veterans involved and aware of the latest technologies and trends. These events allow us to add a different dimension to our online veteran training and certification programs. Veterans get the opportunity to dress the part and network with large and small businesses and get a new flavor and insights for what cutting-edge companies are doing in the civilian marketplace,” stated Glen Brynteson, President of TrainOurTroops.

“We’re excited and grateful to continue growing our program offerings to our military community through our partnership with TrainOurTroops. This Thank You Deployment experience, for the numerous veterans attending CES, will provide invaluable networking opportunities and exposure to new technologies,” stated Glenn Banton, CEO & Executive Director of OSD.

CES is the world’s gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technologies for 50 years — the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace. “I’m really excited to sit down with the veterans that were chosen for this Thank You Deployment and map out their goals and what they want to accomplish from a trade show of this size,” Brynteson stated. “The benefits that these veterans get from these events is hard to put into words. I just want to thank CTA and CES for giving us this opportunity.”

The CES event allows organizations to showcase their brands, launch their latest products, mingle with tech innovators, and see the latest technologies that might just change the world.
