Operation Supply Drop Expands Warehouse Facilities in North Carolina to Impact more Veterans

After only 6 months, we’ve outgrown our warehouse – thankfully we’re on the move.

Last month, nearly a dozen volunteers from Operation Supply Drop Teams chapters in North Carolina, moved gear from our existing 1500 square foot space to a new space with double to square footage. This much needed move took the team about two hours total to complete and afterwards, everyone got together for a quick photo and meal.

Many folks often overlook the massive supply-chain and fulfillment operation behind our programs, particularly for Supply Drops and The Teams. We frequently receive in-kind donations both from individuals donors and from corporate partners, the latter of which can often come as multiple pallets. Incoming donations must be sorted, cleaned, tested, repackaged and organized.

The increased space not only provides additional room for storage, but will also give our operations team more room to clean and inventory incoming gear and process requests going out more efficiently and effectively. We will be able to stage multiple package types for faster turnaround to our deserving men and women both overseas and on installations here in the United States.

Thank you to our community and partners for giving us the ability to continue growing to serve more service-members, veterans and families!
