We Honor, We Remember, We Celebrate – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

Memorial Day. We honor, we remember and we celebrate. It may show on your calendar as the last Monday in May, but on our calendar it is every day. It was yesterday, it is today and it will be tomorrow.

We honor the men and women, the husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles — brothers, sisters and friends.

We remember them. We remember their smiles, their touch, their love, their laugh, their camaraderie, their sacrifice.

We celebrate their lives. We celebrate what they lived for, many giving the life we celebrate while fighting for the values of our great country.

We often ask, “Why?” We think, “Why not me?” We wonder, “What if…?”

Yet still, we honor, remember and celebrate so that their memory may live on and they’re never forgotten.

Enjoy Memorial Day weekend, we are blessed to live in a country where we can and do honor our fallen. As you enjoy your beer and barbecue, please honor, please remember and please celebrate. Take a moment of silence and respect then raise a glass for those who gave all.
