Marines of the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment are Enjoying OSD Supply Drop

Marines of the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment are deployed from Camp Lejeune. They are currently on a quick reaction force in Spain. The months away from home, long hours, and less than ideal living conditions of deployment all take a toll on morale and these Marines were feeling it.

Cpl Triston R. reached out to OSD hoping to provide his fellow Marines with a small morale boost.  He explained, “We could really use a morale booster. I think an OSD Supply Drop would help keep our mind focused on why we are here and to stay positive during the training.”

We were happy to send a Supply Drop their way!

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Marines will return home in the Spring as members of OSD’s Southeast Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Camp Lejeune.
