Marine Corps’ Georgian Liaison Team Roto 7 Has More Entertainment Options Thanks to OSD Supply Drop

JACKSONVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (June 16, 2018) /For immediate release/ —   The Marines Corps’ Georgian Liaison Team (GLT) Roto 7 is deployed to Afghanistan from Camp Lejeune. They support the Georgians in their mission in Afghanistan. CPL Logan F. and his team are part of the Quick Response Force (QRF).

He explained, My team is apart of QRF. We go and recover vehicles that have been immobilized. There are currently a bunch of mechanics and supply Marines in my team. Each day we are either going out to pick something up, filling out paperwork, or wrenching. To keep busy we usually go to the gym but would like something else to kill time.

Happy to equip these hard-working Marines with some more options for entertainment and boost the morale amongst the team.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Marines will return home in the Fall as members of OSD’s Southwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Jacksonville.
