Fort Hood Soldiers Enjoying Games, Coffee, and More Thanks to OSD Supply Drop
KILLEEN, TEXAS & AUSTIN, TEXAS (October 1, 2018) /For immediate release/ — Soldiers of the 20th Engineer Battalion from Fort Hood are deployed to Afghanistan. They work long hours and rarely get time off. However, when they do get downtime, there is little to do to occupy their time and take their mind off of the deployment and missing home.
Sgt Yeokyung B. reached out to OSD hoping to secure a Supply Drop for the men and women of the battalion. Sgt Yeokyung B. explained, “We are working very hard in Afghanistan and a Supply Drop would be a welcome morale boost.
OSD is always happy to provide soldiers with a much-needed morale boost.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the Winter as members of OSD’s Texas Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Fort Hood.
