After Enduring Attacks Downrange, 7th Special Forces Group Enjoying Morale Boost from OSD Supply Drop
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (September 25, 2018) /For immediate release/ —Soldiers of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) are deployed from Eglin Air Force Base to Afghanistan. Their base had been under pretty constant attack which had slowed work, resulted in longer hours, and caused morale to take a serious hit. These soldiers needed something to help take their mind off of the danger of the deployment and boost morale.
Spc Erick M. explained, “Recent attacks to the facility have slowed down our work and forced us to work longer days and nights. It would b greatly appreciate if we got a Supply Drop. I think that it would really improve our work and morale.”
No doubt these soldiers deserved a Supply Drop. We were happy we could supply them with one.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the Spring as members of OSD’s Southeast Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Eglin AFB.
