LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY & AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 5, 2018) /For immediate release/ — Morale for 125th Transportation Company soldiers deployed overseas from Lexington, Kentucky soars after receiving ‘Supply Drop’ from OSD.
SSG Christopher S. wrote, “I just wanted to say thank you for your support and the troops are enjoying the XBOX and games that were sent. They sign it out for periods of time to enjoy it when they have down time.”
“I have even had couple troops ask if it was possible to get more than one system due to how many troops we have in the unit. I just tell them to be thankful for what they got. But again I Thank you for troops and high morale boost.”
OSD Director of Global Community Operations, Scott Morrison, stated, “Feedback like this is what keep us geared up to turn around requests so quickly. We know the benefit these ‘Supply Drops’ provide and we’ll absolutely be continuing the support during their deployment before welcoming them back into OSD Southeast.”
