Airmen from Minot Air Force Base Get Well Deserved OSD ‘Supply Drop’
MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (June 4, 2018) /For immediate release/ — The 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron is deployed from Minot Air Force Base to Afghanistan. A fighter aircraft maintenance unit, these Airmen work day in and day out to ensure that jets are in the air and ready for the mission. They do their job with no complaint despite treachours work conditions and missing their families.
First Sergeant Robert D. explained, “My unit is the best maintenance unit in the Air Force. These Airmen bust their butts day in and day out. They work long hours 6 sometimes 7 days week with little rest in some pretty extreme weather conditions. They will do whatever it takes to keep the jets in the air without any complaints. If and when they do get time off all they want to do is talk to their family back home, play video games, and work out. These guys would really appreciate any support you can provide.”
