Airmen Deployed from Wright Patterson Air Force Base Enjoying OSD Supply Drop

DAYTON, OHIO & AUSTIN, TEXAS (August 30, 2018) /For immediate release/ —   The 386th ECES is deployed from Wright Patterson Air Force Base to Kuwait. The fire department for Ali Al Salem Air Base, they are work long hours and have very little downtime. Many of the Airmen work opposing shifts, so finding ways to build morale as a unit is difficult.

SSgt Tyler T. reached out to OSD hoping to secure a Supply Drop and a way to bring together his fellow Airmen. He explained, “I think a Supply Drop will help bring the opposite shifts together and increase morale for all.”

Happy to provide these Airmen with a way to connect through games and other entertainment items.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Marines will return home in the Winter as members of OSD’s Midwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Ohio.
