Airmen Deployed to Middle East Enjoy OSD ‘Supply Drop’ to Lift Morale Between Missions

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN & AUSTIN, TEXAS (February 16, 2018) /For immediate release/ — US Air Force 380 Expeditionary Operations Group Troops currently deployed to the Middle East face daily challenges in juggling high-tempo mission execution and support. The Airmen, deployed from Wisconsin, return home in late Spring.

MSG David O. said, “We are on a 24 operation cycle with very little time off. The pilots, crews and ground support are the hardest working individuals I have ever worked with and deserve all the morale they can get.

“My unit executes several different flying missions, and well as provides aircraft maintenance and ground support for the missions.”

These Airmen are now enjoying games, coffee and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Microsoft, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS and other key OSD partners.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. This unit will return home in the fall as members of OSD’s Midwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
