Airmen Deployed from Lackland Air Force Base Get Pick Me Up from OSD Supply drop
Airmen of the 386th Ramp Team are deployed from Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio to Kuwait. Each day these Airmen put in long hours in the hot sun. They are responsible for uploading and downloading aircraft cargo.
Senior Airman Gary M. explained, “We work hard, but as the deployment is passing by we are decreasing in morale. We are in the hot desert sun 75 hours a week uploading and downloading all cargo and personnel from aircraft.”
These Airmen deserved a morale boost and an OSD Supply Drop was just the thing to do it.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Airmen will return home in the Spring as members of OSD’s Texas Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within San Antonio.
