Airmen in the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Group Receive OSD Supply Drop
MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA & AUSTIN, TEXAS (June 18, 2018) /For immediate release/ — The 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Group from Minot Air Force Base is deployed to Afghanistan. These Airmen regularly work 12 hours shifts and after a long day need a way to relax and take their mind off of work. Unfortunately, their options were pretty limited.
Airman First Class Kyler B. reached out to OSD in the hopes of securing a Supply Drop for his fellow Airmen and those who would come in after him. He explained, “I believe a Supply Drop would build morale for the whole group. We don’t have much to do here to keep us busy after long shifts. This will build morale for with our rotation and many to come.”
Airman First Class Kyler B. embodies the OSD value of selfless service. We were happy to hook him and his fellow Airmen up with an OSD Supply Drop.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Airmen will return home in the Fall as members of OSD’s Midwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Minot.
