Airmen of 386th ELRS/LGRA Enjoying a Morale Boost from OSD Supply Drop
The Airmen of the 386th ELRS/LGRA are deployed from Oxnard, California to Kuwait. They work at one of the busiest ports in the Middle East. That means long hours and very few days off.
Senior Airmen Hugo M. explained, “We are working at one of the busiest ports in the Middle East. We are constantly working. We don’t have much downtime and little to do at our station. A Supply Drop would be a great way to bring up morale and give us something to do in the downtime we do get.”
These Airmen deserve a way to take their mind off of work and decompress after a long day. Supply Drops are full of entertainment items and can provide a nice distraction from the grind of a deployment.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Airmen will return home in the late Winter as members of OSD’s Southwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within California.
