Air Force Security Forces, Deployed to the Middle East from Arizona, “Supply Drop” Incoming From OSD

PHOENIX & LUKE AFB, ARIZONA December 23, 2017 /For immediate release/ — OSD sends “Supply Drop” to deployed 332 AEW/ECS Security Forces Team from Luke Air Force base in Arizona. The unit is scheduled to stay in country through the winter.

SSgt Shyne T. said, “I’m a SSgt in Air Force Security Forces, currently deployed with 5 troops, myself making 6. We all have managed to bond well by attempting to find ways to pass the time and break up the monotony of each day. We still have a ways to go, we expect some road bumps along the way, but as a whole we as a unit have a strong bond with an indefinite amount of loyalty to our country and the people we serve.”

OSD Global Director of Community Operations, Scott Morrison, said, “We could not be happier to support Airmen deployed from Luke Air Force base in Arizona. We have a long standing relationship with the installation, supporting many on-post events through our OSD Phoenix chapter. Sending a Supply Drop brings the relationship full circle and we know it will increase morale.”

OSD is shipping items from partners including Starbucks, Bezier Games and Steve Jackson Games with direct support from USAA and FanDuel.

OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted over 150,000 active military personnel this year to troops in dozens of locations around the globe.
