75th Ranger Regiment Deployed from Joint Base Lewis McChord Gets Morale Boost from OSD Supply Drop
Soldiers of the 75th Ranger Regiment are deployed from Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington to Afghanistan. The OPS tempo tends to slow down during the cold winter months and that means the deployment can start to drag.
SGT Ryan R. explained, “It has been a rough deployment and we could use a morale boost. As it gets colder the tempo gets slower and we just want to make the time go by as fast as we can. I think a Supply Drop could help.”
These Soldiers needed something to do to fill their downtime and take their mind off of missing home. We were happy to get a Supply Drop in their hands and provide a small morale boost.
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the late Winter as members of OSD’s Northwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Washington.
