5th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron in Need of a Morale Boost Recieve OSD Supply Drop
Airmen of the 5th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron are deployed from McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey to Kuwait. They are maintenance squadron specializing in the C-17.
SSgt Shawn C. explained, “We are a hard-working Maintenance Squadron specializing in the repair and sendoff of the C-17 Globemaster III. Our group of 68+ maintainers are in Kuwait to keep our jets flying around the clock. We are known as 5 EAMS or rather “The Jokers’ Wild!”. Our squadron has all different minds to help fix the jets – crew chiefs, electrical engineers, engine specialists, and hydraulic troops.”
They put in long hours, pushing themselves physically and mentally. Unfortunately, their base offers little in the way of entertainment and they were hoping an OSD Supply Drop would boost morale and give them something to do in their downtime.
SSgt Shawn C. continued, “ I believe we deserve a OSD Supply Drop because I see us working hard up until the moment we are done for the day without any form of break. Just having something to take our minds off work and where we are stationed for the next half year would be a wonderful thing to keep us going strong and build up our morale.”
Happy to send an OSD Supply Drop to these deserving Airmen.
