35th Combat Aviation Brigade Enjoying Improved Game Nights Thanks to OSD Supply Drop
SEDALIA, MISSOURI & AUSTIN, TEXAS (October 6, 2018) /For immediate release/ — Soldiers of the 35th Combat Aviation Brigade are deployed from the Sedalia Armory in Missouri to Kuwait. They work long hours away from friends, family, and the comforts of home. Understandably, these conditions had taken a toll on morale.
Major Clifford B. reached out to OSD in the hopes of securing a Supply Drop and improving a weekly game night hosted for soldiers.
He explained, “These Soldiers work many hours a day without a physical connection to their family and friends. Your support brings resiliency and positivity. We utilize the games and materials for a weekly game night and we have dozens attend. It is the highlight of the week for many Soldiers and their primary way of getting away from the fight.”
OSD was happy to contribute to this game night!
OSD’s “Supply Drop” program has impacted hundreds of thousands of active military personnel in scores of locations around the globe. These Soldiers will return home in the late Spring as members of OSD’s Midwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Missouri.
