The 15the Military Police Brigade’s MWR in Iraq Gets Update from OSD Supply Drop

LEAVENWORTH, KANSAS & AUSTIN, TEXAS (June 18, 2018) /For immediate release/ —   The 15the Military Police Brigade is deployed from Fort Leavenworth to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. They are responsible for running Det operations. A collection of soldiers from 2 different battalions, they were in need of morale boost.

Specialist Dakota J. explained, “We’re the workhorse of our deployment and we don’t really have much. We have a MWR “tent” here with a tv from the early 2000s. I’m honestly surprised it’s still standing. We have a few serious gamers and some I think could use some team bonding. A few FIFA tournaments would be pretty great to bring people in. I think it would be a good boost of moral we can’t get anywhere else.”

An OSD Supply Drop was the perfect way to update their MWR and provide these soldier with the morale boost they needed.

These troops are now enjoying games, coffee, and other supplies from generous donors including Starbucks, Rip It Energy, Disgruntled Decks, FanDuel, GAEMS, and other key OSD partners.

These Soldiers will return home in the Winter as members of OSD’s Midwest Region, leading and participating in social, professional and service events within Leavenworth.
